Sagebrush Cantina '08
Sunday Morning bright but not to early our ride started at Rick and Densie's to begin our trek south. Gathering for the ride were our Road Captain Rick and his First mate Densie, myself, Dave, Rick and his friend Lisa. We headed south to Carp to meet the rest of out troupe at Chuys. Along for the ride were Mike , Dan, Brenda, Wes, Keith, and Belinda. As we left Carp jumping on the 101 south to Los Posses heading west to hook up with the 1.
Our first stop on the ocean leg was at Neptune's Net a brief pit stop. As the Sunday morning heated up the coastal breeze kept the warming day perfect for our ride. We saddled up continuing onto Malibu Cyn. heading east . As we let the coast and headed east through the canyon the day warmed up making for a great ride.

When we arrived at Sagebrush Cantina, we were greeted by the valet parkers to pick our pockets for a buck a bike. Oh well, it's LA! Once we were informed that it was brunch only until 2:30. We jumped right on plan "B" and headed over to the Red Robin for what turned out to be a great lunch everyone seemed to enjoy the quick change in lunch destinations. We finished our lunch, shared stories, and prepared for the next leg of our journey that would take us to the Ventura Harley Shop to check out the event that was going on there.
The bike show and contest brought out some very tricked out rides for everyone to "gawk at" At that point after a little more checking out of the action at, we all headed out at different times making our way to our final destinations. We had a great time with a great group. The route and pace was mellow for everyone to enjoy the day and the company of those attending. One thing ,even though the Sagebrush stop was not to be our lunch stop. This group quickly adjust to our second choice and the staff at the Red Robin set up our table quickly and with a great attitude.
We were treated great. Rick & Densie thanks for arranging a great day.
