Hugh's Lake Road and Lockwood Valley '08

The morning started out cool and overcast,as I headed out from my place at the beach. The plan was to find early Sun. I met Brain and Dave at 5 points. As it turns out to be a Three Musketeers Ride. Which is just fine. We headed south the day turned warm and sunny just forty miles into our journey. South to the 126 over to the 5 up the road and east again.

The Hugh's Lake road giving us a taste of the windies to shake off the mostly straight ride getting there. We landed in downtown Lake Hugh's and the Rock for lunch. During the ride we journeyed past Lake Castic, so I asked my fellow riders I didn't see any Lake when we got to Hugh's, my comment was received with quite a chuckle. And I saw why on our way out "lo and behold there was the lake

" We had a great lunch, good food and service, just what the doctor ordered. After we finished up, we headed out towards Frazer Park there was a car show we passed on the way through. We headed through Lockwood Valley connecting up with the 33 over to Ojai down the 150 passing some of our fellow SB Riders along the way to the 101 and home. What a great day and a ride that I know I needed to stretch out and let our bikes run free.

The ride although just the three of us was filled with great fellowship. A day to remember for sure.

Enjoy the pics.
