Labor Day Music and BBQ '09
The Labor Day Holiday weekend is always a special time of the year, A weekend to share time with family and friends. Rick and Denise have created over the years a place where everyone is welcome to share what they may bring to the party or feast on the food that is provided by this wonderful couple, their family, and dedicated friends. It has become a tradition the food, the fellowship and of course the music. Theresa Russell & Coco Billy are always the music of choice.
| The day started for me showing up and the prep and cooking was in full swing. Rick had prepared a BBQ grill for me to do up my stuffed chili peppers. I certainly enjoy it when they are appreciated. They meat was cooking those preparing their own special side dishes were arriving happy to be a part of the fun event. Denise and the girls were busy about setting the food and drink to be shared by all. The energy was hitting a high note as the bikes lined the street and the yard was abuzz with the chatter of friends catching up some not together since the last party at Memorial Day. As the day continued the party became as always a classic event. We love that Rick, Denise, and their crew put the effort for all to enjoy. I am glad to be a part of this joyous occasion. A another great day had by all.
