Fillmore Tomato Festival and BBQ '11
One of my favorite events is the Beylik Farms Tomato Fest held every year at the farm outside Fillmore. So off I went with my friend Chris, joining me for a backroad ride to the farm. Where we enjoyed a great pit BBQ pork was awesome all the trimming including the Brochette. After we toured the farm learning more about growing tomato's mine are becoming clones of theirs using the farm techniques. So the tour caused me to work up another appetite had another sandwich. Then it was time for desert. Hum where to go Hey what about Boccalies for Strawberry Shortcake, now that's what I'm talking about. That's where we landed after a ride up the back way from Santa Paula. As we were hanging out who should show up. Keith, Belinda, and a group of S.B. Riders coming back from Ventura Harley Day. They had the same idea. It was nice to spend time with our fellow riders. It was truly a great day. Thanks to everyone making it so special of a day.
